Sporting CP Champions League 2026/2027 tickets

Sporting CP Champions League tickets give you a night in Lisbon with the Leões, the lions, or the Verde e Brancos, the green and whites. Here you can buy tickets for Sporting's home matches in the Champions League and watch the club that played the very first European Cup match in 1955. The supporters, the sportinguistas, sing in full voice on matchdays.

Sporting CP in Europe

Sporting CP was founded in 1906 in Lisbon and has 21 Portuguese league titles. In Europe the club won the Cup Winners' Cup in 1964 against MTK Budapest, with a 3-3 draw in Brussels and a 1-0 win in the replay in Antwerp from João Morais's direct corner, the “Cantinho do Morais”. The 2005 UEFA Cup final was lost 1-3 to CSKA Moscow at home in Lisbon. The first European Cup match in 1955 ended 3-3 against Partizan, and the 16-1 win over APOEL in 1963 is a record for a match in UEFA competitions.

Champions League matches not to miss

The meeting with FC Porto is one of the great Portuguese rivalries, and when both play in the Champions League the night is charged. LASK finished ahead of Sporting in the 2019 Europa League group, and Viking FK knocked Sporting out of the UEFA Cup in 1999. European nights in Lisbon have their own history.

The atmosphere on Champions League nights

The club anthem “A Marcha do Sporting” was written in 1955, and on matchdays the crowd sings “O Mundo Sabe Que”. The organised supporters' group Juventude Leonina made the songs “Só Eu Sei” and “Curva Belíssima” popular. The club has over 100 supporters' branches around the world. Sporting CP tickets in the Champions League give you a place in the choir.
