Shakhtar Donetsk Champions League 2026/2027 tickets

Shakhtar Donetsk Champions League tickets give you a European night with the Hirnyky, the miners, or the Kroty, the moles. Here you can buy tickets for Shakhtar's home matches in the Champions League and watch a side that won the UEFA Cup in 2009. A mole mascot entertains the crowd at home matches.

Shakhtar Donetsk in Europe

Shakhtar Donetsk was founded in 1936 in Donetsk and has 16 Ukrainian league titles. In Europe the club won the UEFA Cup in 2009 after a 2-1 win over Werder Bremen in the final in Istanbul, the last final under the UEFA Cup name, and became the first Ukrainian club to win it. The 2009 Super Cup was lost 0-1 to Barcelona. The club made its Champions League group stage debut in 2000 and reached the quarter-final in 2011 against Barcelona, and the Europa League semi-final in 2016 against Sevilla and in 2020. The name means miners and comes from the coal mines of the Donbas.

Champions League matches not to miss

FC Barcelona is the opponent that shaped the club's European history, in the 2009 Super Cup and in the 2011 quarter-final. If Barcelona come, it is a night of history on both sides. Every European night carries its own charge for a team that plays its home matches outside Donetsk.

The atmosphere on Champions League nights

The nicknames are Hirnyky and Kroty, and a mole mascot entertains the crowd. The club has not been able to play in Donetsk since 2014 because of the war in Donbas and plays its home matches in another city. Shakhtar Donetsk tickets in the Champions League give you a place in a team's fight for its home city.
