Bodø/Glimt in Europe

Bodø/Glimt was founded in 1916 in Bodø and has 4 Norwegian league titles: 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2024. In Europe the club reached the Europa League semi-final in 2025, the first Norwegian club in a semi-final of a UEFA competition, after a penalty shoot-out against Lazio, with Tottenham as opponents. The team played its first Champions League in 2025 and reached the round of 16 in 2026, after knocking out Inter 5-2 on aggregate in the play-off.

Champions League matches not to miss

At home the team beat AS Roma 6-1 in the 2021 Conference League group stage, the same season Roma won the competition, and met them again in the 2022 quarter-final. Inter were knocked out 5-2 on aggregate in the 2026 play-off, and against Slavia Prague it finished 2-2 in the league phase in 2025. Nights like these show that Bodø is no forgotten backdrop.

The atmosphere on Champions League nights

The supporters, with roots in Den Gule Horde, were early adopters of organised support in Norway in the 1970s. The symbol is a giant yellow toothbrush, which began when a supporters' leader conducted the chant with a toothbrush, and visiting team captains are given a yellow toothbrush before the match.
