Atlético Madrid Champions League 2026/2027 tickets

Atlético Madrid Champions League tickets are your way to experience Madrid on a European night. Here you can buy tickets for Atlético's home matches in the Champions League and watch the Colchoneros, the mattress makers, or the Rojiblancos, the red and whites, welcome sides from across Europe. The club has played two Champions League finals and won the Europa League three times, and the supporters sing just as loudly whoever the opponent is.

Atlético Madrid in Europe

Atlético Madrid was founded in 1903 in Madrid and has 11 Spanish league titles. In Europe the club won the Cup Winners' Cup in 1962 against Fiorentina after a replay, the Europa League in 2010, 2012 and 2018, the Super Cup in those same three years, and the Intercontinental Cup in 1974. There have also been lost finals: the European Cup in 1974 against Bayern Munich after a replay, and the Champions League in 2014 and 2016, both against Real Madrid, the latter on penalties. The club started as a branch of Athletic Bilbao, founded by three Basque students.

Champions League matches not to miss

The meeting with Real Madrid is the Madrid derby, and it has been decided in two Champions League finals, in 2014 and 2016. When both clubs play in the same competition, the night carries extra tension. Against Bayern Munich the 1974 European Cup final was played, where a last-minute equaliser in the first leg forced a replay. It is a rival with history.

The atmosphere on Champions League nights

The organised singing group stands in the Fondo Sur, the south end. The club's centenary anthem, “Motivos de un sentimiento”, was written and performed in 2003 by Joaquín Sabina, and “Nadie sabía su nombre” is a classic terrace song. The club's biggest tifo was a mosaic of over 67,000 cards that subscribers and the stand's supporters made together. Atlético Madrid tickets in the Champions League put you among a crowd that creates its own stage design.
