Aston Villa Champions League 2026/2027 tickets

Aston Villa Champions League tickets take you to Birmingham for a European night. Here you can buy tickets for Aston Villa's home matches in the Champions League and watch The Villans, also known as The Lions, take on sides from across the continent. The club has a European Cup title in its trophy cabinet and a supporter culture built around a famous stand. That makes nights in Birmingham more than just another match.

Aston Villa in Europe

Aston Villa was founded in 1874 in Birmingham and has 7 English league titles. In Europe the club won the European Cup in 1982 after a 1-0 win over Bayern Munich in Rotterdam, with a goal by Peter Withe. The same year brought the Super Cup after a 3-1 aggregate win over Barcelona. In 2026 the team won the Europa League with a 3-0 win over SC Freiburg in the final in Istanbul, the club's second European title and its first trophy since 1996. Club director William McGregor founded the Football League in 1888, the world's first football league.

Champions League matches not to miss

Villa has a special history with two of Europe's great names. The 1982 final was won against Bayern Munich, and in the Super Cup the same year FC Barcelona lost 3-1 on aggregate. If Villa meet either of those sides in Birmingham, two clubs who share a final or a trophy in history will meet. These are nights when the away supporters remember too.

The atmosphere on Champions League nights

The Holte End is the stand where the loudest supporters traditionally gather. It was once Europe's largest standing terrace behind a goal and often held 20,000. Today it is a two-tier stand with just over 13,000 seats, and its facade is inspired by Aston Hall. On a European night it fills with voices that give the Villa team energy. Aston Villa tickets in the Champions League give you the chance to sit close to that wall of sound.
